Hi Everyone,
I'm Moe from Germany and I've been "observing" your forums as a guest for quite a while now. So far I have to say that this is the most interesting forum for me on the web because I am specializing in Burmese Pythons myself.

Well what can I tell you about me... as I said I usually go by the name "Moe" in Forums, but this name was already taken here... even though I have the feeling that it's an account that I created years ago but I just can't find a way to log in. However my real name is Moritz von Zeddelmann... and yeah, don't try to pronounce it, let's keep things simple Big Grin
I have a website named GlobeReptiles.com where I used to sell Imported snakes from all over the world, but things have changed as you know and that's why I don't do much exporting anymore. But luckily enough there is always another door opening up. That door for me is probably carrying the tag "Burmese Pythons" on it. That was my decision about 8 Months ago, I wanted to concentrate on my favourite kind of snake ever and that is quite clearly the burmese python.Smile
There are several other reasons for it that don't have anything to do with my personal feelings towards this species which made that decision quite easy for me.
However I am very excited about being a member of this forum. Please forgive me for not always getting behind the american slang, I am not really native to the english language but I try my best to understand what is being said here. So that's me and for the beginning I would like to show you what really made my day today. For whatever reason Burmese Pythons and Blood Pythons are a very popular combination and Bloodpythons do indeed arract me as well, so a week ago I purchased a female "ringer" P. brongersmai - my very first Bloodpython. It was a good deal and I believe that "ringers" are a very promising project for someone like me. However i tried feeding it a very small Piglet and she actually found this new food item quite interesting as you can see in the picture below.
Thanks a lot and feel free to ask any question about me, I'm very anxious about sharing everything about Burmese Pythons with you Big Grin Many greetings from the "old world" Big Grin

-Moe

Welcome to the forum!

That is a beautiful snake and she seems to enjoy the piglet!
Welcome! I believe I remember you from Bob Clark's old forum. Nice to have you here.

What part of Germany Moe? I was overseas a few years ago in the military stationed on a base in Illesheim (spelling?). It was a beautiful country to visit and I enjoyed touring around the old castles and towns there. Germany is rich with history and it's people were very welcoming as well. I miss so many things about Germany one being Swhip Schwap cola mix and touring the local brewerys. I spent a lot of time around Nuremburg as I was fascinated with the history of that city.
Hi & welcome to the forum, very beautiful blood! Glad to have you here Big Grin
Welcome to the site... Beautiful snake!
Thank y'all very much for the kind replies!

@Ucowboy: I'm from Hamburg (the big city in the far north). Yeah, it's called Illesheim (close to Würzburg, right?), I'm glad to hear that you liked it here. I can tell you, I miss America, too. I've lived in Portland, OR for quite a while, Joel might still remember (it was about 4 years ago that I returned to Germany). And now here is the deal: I send you some bottles of Schwip-Schwap and you send me some A&W Cream Soda Big Grin Big Grin Local breweries are very difficult to ship, but some bottles of your favourite beer could be possible Wink

Cheers!

I don't drink beer anymore. Gave up drinking for a paying job lol. The schwip-schwap however I'd love to have. A&W cream soda is my favorite here as well and I'd be glad to ship some over. I've been to Hamburg several times. They had a little inn there that I always stopped and ate at. It took me nearly a year there before I would order pomme fritz as I wasn't brave enough to ask what they were lol!
