Senator Demint and Senator Graham Office visits.
Well not to bad I guess I ended up with 1/2 the response I wanted.
I will tell you this looking up these steps when you never have before it is quite intimidating.

Senator Demint's office is in the Customs building so it was kinda scary.

But once in side the big ole building Pamela Gregory helped me out and apologized over and over for the Washington office's lack of contact. She heard what I had to say and promised to work on getting me a meeting as soon as she possibly could, and she was good to her word I had an email 15 minutes after leaving the building letting me know she had contacted a few people to see if she could get me in this week.

Now Graham's office was not quite as fancy so not scary till I got in there. I explained the situation and that I had sent letters, emails and made phone calls and have not gotten any response, well that made her pretty angry, whether she was mad because I had not had a response being as I tried so hard or she may have been mad because I came in and disrupted something. Anyway she called Washington and got the skinny and I guess Senator Graham has no position on the matter as he believes there is no support for the bill so he sees no reason to take a side on it. So I had a great visit with Demint's office and I am not sure what I had at Graham's..

Pretty cool deal though being a part of this process even if it is not the greatest reason to be a part of it.

Glad to see you got something done. Sounds like this bill is losing ground to me.

Glad to hear that we do not need to collect a bail pool Big Grin

I was glad to see that as well but I have faith in Sam....even he can talk the talk with the exception of a a few "MONKEYTURD" adjectives. If you are passionate enough about this hobby you can make anything happen.

Nice work, Samuel. I hope the bill loses ground based on the fact that US Fish and Wildlife is trying to go about this via the scientific route. Then we can sit and hope that truth and science prevail. Damn, I hope Adam's right.
