i start everything i can on rat pups or whatever size rat they need. to me mice are like anorexic women no one wants them. they dont serve a purpose and dont provide much substance, and its just one more uneeded step.

wow who the hell would strat a baby retic on mice ? wtf? really i mean i don't know much but mice is not something i would start a baby retic /or burm on lol and i did try my little guy (my burm ) on a mouse once he showed no intrest in that mouse whats so ever
 so he gets big fat rat pups
