Hey Folks!

I just couldn't resist. In the past few days I read a lot about the dwarfs and all of the sudden I get a great offer on a WC pair of dwarfs.
I couldn't help it, I just heared me saying that I'll take them Now they're here... and they're vicious... Still I already like them a lot

The tiny male:

I thought he escaped this morning... false alert! He just fully submerged in his bedding... almost couldn't see his first strike coming But he's good... trying to trick me

And the female... man, she really is like your worst nightmare of your mother-in-law... just waaaaay smaller ... So cute

They're both in the rack for now, they have to get used to captivity, a rack is always good for them to settle down. Depending on how they grow (if they grow at all) they're going to get their own vivs... somewhen. The female needs one for sure, but that has to wait until she's a little more calm.
Thanks for taking a look!

Ever since owning snakes ive always wanted to know as much as i can about each species ive kept. The internet is obviously a HUGE library to learn from but i like to have something to have to hand.

I only really own 2 books with reference to Burmese Pythons which are the following.

'Burmese Pythons' By Philippe de Vosjoli and Roger Klingenberg
'Burmese Pythons' By John Coborn

They are ok but not particularly in depth, i would like to have something a little more in depth for reference!

Any ideas? Reccomendations would be much appreciated!
Thanks

hi guys- we have had a thread about this in a german forum. alan from waterview posted there, that when u breed a hypo x hypo u will get super hypos not lucys. i didnt belived it that much and didnt thought much about it. than i remembered an old thread from micheal cole. in this thread he breed hypo x hypo and became the so called "phantom lucys". now its clear that they were just lighter hypos. the next year micheal cole did the same pairing and became lucys from that breeding. we thought about it and moe came across an idea which made sence to me.

he tought that maybe the hypo burms are just like platinum retics. from platinum x platinum, u get ivorys, ultra ivories and lucys.

so we thought maybe u could get super hypos and lucys from breeding hypo x hypo.

then i thought about the lucys that were produced and noticed that some are creamy white, while others are clear white.

so a came across the theorie that when u breed hypo x hypo u could get super hypos, ivories and lucys (i just call em ivories cause in balls, ivories arent that white as bel s).

when we put it together it could definatly be a possibility i think. we got 2 people who breed hypo x hypo and became no lucys but lighter colored hypos (super hypos). one of em made the same pairing again and became lucys. some lucys are creamy white others are clear white.

now we wanted to debate it with u guys and would apriciate it to hear ur thoughts on it.
